How to Use

Remove old bedding and clean coop thoroughly before first application. Spread Koop Clean bedding evenly across the coop floor to a depth of 2-3 inches. Add fresh bedding to high-traffic areas and nesting boxes as needed. The Sweet PDZ component will actively neutralize ammonia odors. Use the deep litter method or remove and replace bedding as needed based on flock size and coop conditions. Generally refresh or add bedding weekly and do complete changes monthly or as needed.

Storage

Store unused bedding in a cool, dry location away from moisture. Keep in original packaging or transfer to moisture-proof container. Protect from rain and humidity to maintain effectiveness of odor-neutralizing properties.

Notes

Unlike hay (which is livestock feed and should never be used for bedding), this specially formulated blend is designed specifically as bedding material. The chopped format prevents the matting and compaction issues common with long straw. The inclusion of Sweet PDZ sets this apart from basic bedding by actively controlling ammonia rather than just absorbing moisture. After use, this bedding makes excellent compost for gardens, enriching soil with valuable nutrients.
