Clean weekly with hot soapy water to prevent algae or mold.

Care
Wash regularly (at least weekly) with hot water and mild soap or vinegar solution. Use bottle brush to scrub interior. Rinse thoroughly before refilling to ensure no soap residue. Sanitize monthly with diluted bleach solution (1 tablespoon bleach per gallon of water), then rinse extremely well. Replace jar if it becomes cracked, scratched, or cloudy.
