How to Use

Place heated pad on a flat surface in brooder, coop, or nesting box. Plug into standard 120V outlet—uses only 40 watts (costs approximately $0.01-0.02 per hour to operate). Position away from water sources and flammable materials. Do not cover with bedding that could create fire hazard. Allow chicks to move on and off pad as needed to regulate their own temperature—chicks will self-regulate by moving closer or farther away. For chicks, place pad under one section of brooder so they have choice of warm and cooler areas. Clean regularly with damp cloth when unplugged. Cord is 5.5 feet long.
