How to Use
Remove from packaging and hang from a tree branch, shepherd's hook, or other sturdy support using the attached rope or wire. Position 5-6 feet off the ground in a location visible from your viewing area. Birds will cling to the pine cone exterior and peck at the suet. Best placed in shaded areas during hot weather to prevent excessive melting. Replace when suet is consumed or becomes rancid.
Size
330g pine cone provides several days to weeks of feeding depending on bird activity
Storage
Store unused product in a cool, dry place. In hot weather, refrigerate to prevent melting. Once hung outdoors, monitor for signs of rancidity (off smell, discoloration) and replace as needed.
Notes
Suet products are especially valuable during winter months when natural insect food sources are scarce, but can be fed year-round in moderate climates. The pine cone shape provides natural perching surfaces that woodpeckers and other clinging birds prefer. During hot summer weather, consider using no-melt suet formulas or remove suet feeders to prevent melting and spoilage. The natural appearance makes this product particularly appealing for decorative backyard settings.
