How to Use

1. Release the arm bar: Remove staple and move arm so it hangs over the back of trap. 2. Bait the trap: Apply small amount of high-protein bait (peanut butter or hazelnut spread works best) on the plastic pedal. 3. Hold securely: Pull back the kill bar and hold firmly with your thumb. 4. Set the trap: Place arm bar over kill bar and secure under plastic pedal. Note the "Firm" and "Sensitive" settings marked on the trap. Firm side is easier to set but requires more pressure to trigger. Sensitive side is harder to set but triggers more easily. 5. Place strategically: Position trap perpendicular to walls where mouse activity is evident, with baited pedal facing the wall. Place in areas away from children and pets. Check daily and dispose of caught mice. Reset as needed.

Care & Maintenance

After catching a mouse, dispose of it according to local regulations. Clean trap with warm soapy water if reusing. Replace trap if wood becomes damaged or mechanism weakens.

Notes

Mice typically travel along walls, so trap placement is critical for success. Place traps where you've seen droppings, gnaw marks, or other signs of activity. Peanut butter is generally more effective than cheese as bait. For best results, use multiple traps simultaneously—2-3 traps are more effective than 1 trap checked more frequently. Snap traps provide immediate results unlike poison baits which can take days and result in mice dying in inaccessible locations. Always wash hands thoroughly after handling traps or dead mice.
