How to Use
Clean and treat the wound or injury area as directed by your veterinarian. Apply any necessary padding or primary dressing first. Starting at the bottom of the area to be bandaged, wrap the CoFlex bandage around the limb or body part with slight tension, overlapping each wrap by about 50%. The bandage will stick to itself with each layer. Do not wrap too tightly—you should be able to slip one finger under the bandage. Secure the end by pressing firmly against the previous layer. Check bandage regularly to ensure it's not too tight (watch for swelling, coldness, or discoloration below the bandage).
Size
4 inch width, 5 yard length per roll
Care & Maintenance
CoFlex is designed for single use and should be disposed of after removal. Cut bandage off with scissors rather than unwrapping to avoid disturbing healing tissue. Do not reuse on the same or different animals.
Notes
While CoFlex Vet is economical and functional, some users report it may not be as durable or flexible as premium options like 3M Vetrap, particularly during turnout or extended wear. Check bandages twice daily to ensure proper fit and condition. Not a substitute for professional veterinary care—consult your veterinarian for proper wound management and bandaging techniques.
