How to Use

Spread a 2-4 inch layer in clean, dry stalls, pens, or cages—deeper bedding provides more cushioning and absorbency. Remove soiled bedding daily or as needed using a fork or scoop. Add fresh shavings to maintain depth and absorbency. For stalls, use approximately 6-8 cubic feet for initial bedding, then 1-2 cubic feet weekly for maintenance. The 5 cubic foot bag covers approximately 40-50 square feet at 2-3 inches deep.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture—damp shavings lose effectiveness. Keep away from open flames or heat sources—cedar is flammable. Store in original compressed bag until ready to use. Once opened, use within 6 months for best aroma and insect-repelling properties. Keep out of reach of children and pets until spread as bedding.
