How to Use

Hang or mount trap in direct sunlight, 3-4 feet off the ground and at least 10 feet away from buildings or animal holding areas. Position in highly visible, sunlit locations outside of livestock feeding areas where stable flies congregate. The shimmer effect as sun shines through the translucent material draws flies to the sticky surface. For best comprehensive fly control, use in combination with other fly management methods. Dispose when full (or before if surface becomes dusty, which reduces effectiveness). Can be rinsed off and reused if desired.

Care & Maintenance

Replace trap when it becomes heavily loaded with flies or dusty. For extended use, trap can be rinsed with water to remove dust and restore adhesive effectiveness. Store unused traps in a cool, dry place.

Notes

Stable flies are particularly harmful biting flies that attack horses, cattle, dogs, and humans, potentially transmitting diseases and causing secondary infections. These flies typically bite low on animals' legs. This trap specifically targets stable flies and is not effective for house flies or other non-biting fly species.
